Keesler Federal Credit Union is seeking a Teller Service Representative I to join Retail Operations. Under general supervision, you will post transactions, balance cash, and manage negotiable instruments with accuracy and efficiency.

This role supports sales and service initiatives by identifying member needs, referring cross-sales, and using the CRM to track interactions, while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• 1–12 months of teller or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Accurate handling of deposits, withdrawals, and cash-related transactions.
• Proficient with PC software and teller terminals; basic math skills essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify members for transactions or account information and verify ownership.
• Accept deposits and payments, perform withdrawals or loan advances, and reconcile cash within authority limits.
• Maintain cash controls by double-counting cash and balancing drawers or recyclers.
• Resolve member concerns using available resources and CRM to track interactions and referrals.
• Support sales initiatives by identifying member needs and referring cross-sales or distributing marketing materials.
