Job summary

TD Bank in Ewing, New Jersey seeks a Teller II for a 20-hour-per-week role. You will handle everyday banking transactions with accuracy, educate customers on TD's products, and refer to partners as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• 1 year teller or cash handling experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service skills are preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Detail-oriented approach to cash handling and records.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear and consistent.

Responsibilities

• Performs customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments.
• Processes cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits.
• Responds to and resolves customer inquiries using standard procedures and escalating to management as needed.
• Engages in lobby leadership by welcoming customers and guiding accordingly.
• Educates customers on TD's products and digital options and refers to appropriate partners.
• Trains and mentors new Tellers and assists supervisors with daily duties.
