Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year teller or cash handling experience preferred.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.

Responsibilities

• Executes TD's Brand promise to customers by delivering a Legendary Customer experience in the Store.
• Performs customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments with accuracy.
• Balances cash drawer, verifies currency, and handles night deposits with high accuracy.
• Responds to customer inquiries using standard procedures and escalates as needed.
• Guides customer flow and welcomes customers in the lobby, promoting TD services.
• Educates customers on self-service and digital options that meet their needs.
• Acts as an advocate by offering financial solutions and referring to partners for additional services.
• Trains and mentors new Tellers and assists store leadership with daily duties.
• Follows Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act and security/audit measures to minimize risk.
