Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently, including cash handling, negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
2. Set up, close, and balance teller station daily.
3. Record sales of monetary instruments.
4. Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.
5. Maintain a neat and well-stocked teller area weekly.
6. Cross-sell bank products and services as needed.
7. Follow limits for protection of customer accounts and bank safety.
8. Adhere to bank policies and procedures.
9. Lift coin bags up to 50 lbs as needed.
10. Assist with balancing Vault, ATM, Night Drop, and Coin Machine.
11. Assist with scanning bank documents and proof work.
12. Exercise judgment when applying holds and making check cashing decisions.
13. Cross-train to open basic new consumer accounts.
14. Adhere to work schedule with flexibility.
15. Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude and appearance.
16. Work at alternative locations within the region or market as needed.
17. Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
18. Complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training quarterly.
19. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0-6 months related experience or training.
• Effective communication skills for in-person and small group interactions.
• Basic mathematical skills for handling money and measurements.
• Ability to use common sense for simple, multi-step instructions.
• No required certificates or licenses.
• Basic software skills: 10-Key, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing.
