Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust in New Mexico is seeking a Teller I to provide prompt, efficient service for customers and process a variety of banking transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities include handling checks, deposits, cash, and receipts; balancing drawers daily; referring customers to specialists for financial goals, and educating clients on mobile and online banking. A High School diploma and cash handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; one year of cash handling preferred.
• Strong math and problem solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to cross-sell products.
• Must maintain confidentiality of client transactions and bank records.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to work with others.
• Good phone voice and professional appearance.
• Ability to interview customers and understand requests.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handles multiple transaction types: accepts checks for cash/deposits, issues receipts, and processes currency orders.
• Maintains proper cash levels and security in drawers; balances cash drawer daily.
• Balances ATM, vault, coin, and cash GL accounts; addresses over/short situations.
• References customers to internal experts for additional financial goals and needs.
• Educates clients on mobile/online banking, ATM, and ITM services.
• Assists branch and team with daily tasks to meet goals and service standards.
• Performs branch opening/closing procedures and adheres to security rules.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
