Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience; cash handling and sales experience preferred.
• General PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify needs, complete requests, and answer questions.
• Research customer issues and correct discrepancies.
• Accept and process cash item deposits, savings deposits, withdrawals and cashed checks.
• Process loan, credit card and utility payments.
• Redeem savings bonds.
• Reconcile night deposits and mailed-in transactions.
• Follow cash handling procedures to ensure proper balancing and security.
• Complete and process holds/CTR's as required.
• Maintain safety and security measures; follow dual control where required; assist with audits.
• Maintain assigned cash levels; balance drawer; resolve over/short issues.
• Sell gift cards and other bank services; identify cross-sell opportunities and referrals.
• Use back-office capture to send transactions to corporate and reconcile any balancing issues.
