Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Prior cash handling and sales experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify business needs.
• Research customer issues and correct discrepancies.
• Process cash item deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
• Process loan, credit card and utility payments.
• Redeem savings bonds.
• Reconcile night deposits and mailed-in transactions.
• Follow cash handling procedures to balance and secure funds.
• Complete holds/CTR's as required.
• Maintain safety and security measures; dual control; assist audits.
• Balance drawer and research over/short issues.
• Sell gift cards and bank services; cross-sell referrals.
