Job summary

Idaho First Bank is seeking a dependable Part-Time Teller I to assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and everyday banking needs in a friendly, community-focused environment.

You will balance cash, support online banking, and help with ATM duties while delivering accurate, courteous service. This role offers a 24 hours per week schedule and opportunities to grow your banking skills while supporting local customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, wire transfers, and stop payments.
• Identify opportunities to refer banking products and services to customers.
• Provide support for online banking, statements, credit cards, and password resets.
• Balance and refill ATM as needed and process night drop deposits.
• Maintain knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with REG E and ACH disputes and with foreign currency and drafts.

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Teller I

Idaho First Bank is looking for a motivated and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Teller I. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and is looking for a part-time role with a community-focused organization.

In this position, you’ll play an important role in supporting our customers and team while gaining valuable experience in the banking industry. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a positive experience for our customers.

This is a part-time position with a schedule of approximately 24 hours per week.

Essential Functions:

• Timely and accurately assist customers with daily transaction needs such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, wire transfer requests and stop payment requests
• Identify opportunities to offer/refer additional products and services that will add value to our customer relationships
• Provide customer support around online banking, statements, credit cards, and password resets
• Balance and refill the ATM, as assigned, and processes night drop and ATM deposits
• Handle and balance cash within limit authority and Cash Control Policy
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Assist customers with REG E and ACH Disputes
• Process account holds and customer requests for foreign currency and drafts
• Conduct customer outreach efforts to resolve non posts and return items
• Assist customers with Safe Deposit Box entry and payments
• Complete BSA/AML reports and communications as needed

Additional responsibilities:

• May be asked to work in New Accounts area as/if needed
• May be asked to support business development activities as needed within individual markets
• Complete required compliance and educational training
• Participate in Community First Events
• Provide exceptional customer service while remaining in Bank regulatory and legal guidelines
• May require flexibility and willingness to work and travel to various areas of retail operations

• Self-directed: must be able to fulfill responsibilities of the position with minimal supervision

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-year previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.
