Job summary

OceanFirst Bank is seeking a Teller at our Manahawkin branch. Accurate processing of transactions with a focus on personalized service and refer customers to Personal Bankers for specialized services.

The role supports branch growth and customer retention by meeting sales and service goals, balancing cash, handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and providing friendly, professional service; training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to cross-sell Bank products.
• Detail oriented and highly accurate; able to multi-task.
• Basic personal computer user skills and ability to operate banking system.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process transactions accurately to meet standards.
• Refer customers to Personal Bankers for specialized services.
• Balance cash drawers and secure receipts and records; manage deposits/withdrawals.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders and checks.
• Assist outbound calling and migrate customers to digital channels.
