Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Teller for the Retail Banking network. The role focuses on accurate cash handling, friendly customer service, and compliant banking operations in a branch environment.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing, while advising customers on digital tools and services. Occasional travel to other branches is required to support operations and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete internal teller and product training.
• Travel to training locations may be required; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing with verification of customer identity and funds.
• Provide information on products, services and digital tools; refer to branch partners as needed.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Assist with branch operations and guide customers to the right service area.
• Support lobby management and professional customer interactions.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain accuracy; follow security and compliance standards.
• Travel to training locations as required to enhance knowledge and skills.
