Job summary

ChoiceOne Bank is seeking a Teller to be the face of our branch, delivering world-class service and accurate transaction handling while supporting sales referrals.

You will balance cash, process transactions, stay compliant with BSA/Patriot Act, and build relationships with customers to uncover banking needs.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and ongoing knowledge of products and services to help customers confidently manage their finances.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Operate teller window and balance daily.
• Provide world-class customer service and refer customers to bankers.
• Process cash and non-cash transactions accurately and confidentially.
• Acquire knowledge of banking products, services and technology.
• Develop relationships with clients and make referrals to bankers.
• Follow Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act requirements.
• Complete reports and comply with federal and state regulations.
• Answer phones and perform occasional night deposits and ATM balancing.
