Job summary

ASE Credit Union in Montgomery, AL is seeking a customer service oriented Teller to accurately process financial transactions and assist members in person, by phone, or at the drive-thru, delivering friendly, confidential service and minimizing wait times.

You will handle checking and savings transactions, balance cash drawers, follow procedures for holds and checks, and support other departments as needed while upholding policies and customer care standards.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service and/or cash handling experience.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Significant level of trust and diplomacy is required for handling confidential matters and interacting with members.

Responsibilities

• Process checking, savings, and loan transactions with accuracy and verify member needs.
• Balance cash drawer daily and follow procedures for holds and checks.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and meet sales/service goals.
• Assist other departments and branch managers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment and demonstrate a positive attitude toward members and team members.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and laws.
• All other duties as assigned.
