Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Teller to serve as the frontline representative of the bank, delivering a welcoming, accurate and customer-focused experience. You will process transactions, maintain cash accuracy, and support customers with daily banking needs.

You will listen to understand customer needs, educate them on digital tools, and refer to branch partners for additional services. Strong attention to detail and adherence to security standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to complete internal teller and product training.
• Willingness to attend 5–7 day initial training; travel may be required; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Process routine teller transactions with accuracy (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing).
• Verify customer identity and funds; ensure cash drawer balance.
• Provide friendly, accurate service; explain products and digital tools; refer to team as needed.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Support lobby management and answer calls professionally per bank standards.
