First Merchants Bank is seeking a Service Associate (Teller) to provide high quality customer service by accurately and efficiently completing bank transactions and suggesting products to meet customers’ current and future financial needs. We support you to exceed personal production goals while delivering a meaningful customer experience.

In a sales-driven environment, you will balance cash, ensure compliance, and protect customer privacy while assisting with opening/closing the banking center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 months of sales, cash handling, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to banking requests and inquiries.
• Balance cash and daily transactions, vault and ATM handling.
• Understand and ensure compliance with regulations and reporting.
• Follow information security policy to protect customer privacy.
• Assist with opening and/or closing the banking center.
• Sell bank products and make customer referrals to meet goals.
• Know all bank products and participate in meetings and coaching sessions.
