First Merchants Bank is seeking a Service Associate (Teller) to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service by accurately and efficiently completing bank transactions and suggesting products and services to meet customers’ financial needs.

We strive to exceed personal production goals while delivering a meaningful customer experience. You will balance cash, handle daily transactions, and support sales goals by referring customers to appropriate products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 3 months of sales, cash handling, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by handling banking transactions and solving customer inquiries.
• Balance cash, daily transactions, vault and ATM operations; ensure compliance and reporting.
• Protect customer privacy per information security policy and verification procedures.
• Assist with opening and/or closing banking center.
• Sell bank products and make customer referrals to meet goals.
