Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Friendly and professional communication skills
• Tact and composure when working with customers
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment
• Comfortable educating members and promoting products and services
• Comfortable using computers
• Previous customer service experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries with accuracy and attention to detail
• Greet members and respond to questions or concerns with professionalism and care
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and follow established procedures for balancing, security, and compliance
• Educate members and promote credit union products and services
• Refer members to the right team members or services when additional support is needed
• Support daily branch operations and contribute to a smooth workflow
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure consistent service and a positive, respectful team environment
• Participate in training and development opportunities to grow your skills and career
• Pitch in on other operational tasks as needed
• Communicating with members using service channels including phones, live teller machines, email, text, and secure messaging
