Job summary

First Bank in the United States is seeking a courteous Teller to provide service, process transactions, and respond to inquiries at the branch. You will handle deposits and withdrawals, verify cash, and ensure accuracy while protecting customer privacy.

You will balance cash drawers, complete end-of-day balancing, and refer customers to other departments for needs beyond the teller line. Strong communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of cash handling experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to customers with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Receive deposits/withdrawals, verify cash, endorsements, and IDs.
• Balance teller drawer daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete CTR, SAR, and MIL forms as required.
• Refer customers to appropriate bank departments for complex needs.
• Promote bank products and services when appropriate.
• Maintain teller station security and confidentiality.
