Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a customer-focused teller to provide quality, accurate processing of everyday banking transactions in a retail setting onsite at the West Monroe location. You will deliver friendly service, handle cash with care, and support daily operations while maintaining compliance and security standards.

Responsibilities include promoting bank products, resolving client needs, and ensuring a positive experience for customers as part of a collaborative retail banking team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 6 months of cash handling or teller experience strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with basic computer apps and cash handling procedures is expected.

Responsibilities

• Handle a cash drawer with proper control and adhere to audit and security policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
• Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, municipal coupons, money orders).
• Assist daily balancing and processing of ATM transactions and entries.
• Assist in night and lobby depository deposits verification.
• Maintain dual control vault responsibilities.
• Stay informed of operations updates to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and resolve issues promptly.
• Promote bank products and services to enhance client relationships.
