Job summary

Tinker Federal Credit Union’s branches on Tinker Air Force Base have an immediate opening for a full-time Teller. This role involves serving members, promoting credit union products, and guiding members on services and current promotions.

You will be the face of TFCU, greeting members and assisting as needed while following SOPs. The position offers a starting hourly rate of $20/hour with placement based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related work experience preferred.
• Financial institution experience preferred.
• Previous teller experience preferred.

Job description

As a Teller, you will be responsible for the following:

• Providing a wide variety of TFCU Services to members
• Responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members by various delivery methods
• Providing guidance to new and existing members in regard to the various credit union services with an emphasis on all current promotions
• Serving as the face of the credit union, greeting members and offering assistance as a needed, while following all standard operating procedures

Salary Range:

This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $20/hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.

Schedule:

The expectations to work on Tinker AFB include working at all three TFCU branches on base as well as working rotating shifts. The position is required to work from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. The position is also required to work alternating Saturdays at an off-base TFCU location from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Education & Experience:

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent which is required and one-year applicable work experience in a related position is preferred. Financial institution experience preferred.

• Previous Bank Teller experience from a bank or credit union is preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Credentials to access Tinker AFB is not required before hire. TFCU will provide necessary credentials upon hire to access Tinker AFB
• Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority
• Complete regulations training
• TFCU University certification required and completed

• Adaptability skills to tackle any challenge and the aptitude to take initiative
• Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including rotating Saturdays as well as the ability to travel to various TFCU locations
• Knowledge of policies and procedures as well as knowledge of TFCU products and services
• Organizational skills and attention to detail to work multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations as well as knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines and cash handling standards
