Job summary

Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Shawnee branch is hiring a Full-Time Teller. The role involves providing a broad range of TFCU services, promoting products, guiding members on services and promotions, and greeting members as the face of the credit union.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour, non-exempt, with a schedule roughly Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and rotating Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., plus opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• One-year related work experience is preferred.
• Financial institution experience is preferred.
• Bank teller experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of TFCU services to members.

Tinker Federal Credit Union's Shawnee branch has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Teller position! This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the nation's leading credit unions! As a Teller, you will be responsible for the following:

• Providing a wide variety of TFCU Services to members
• Responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members by various delivery methods
• Providing guidance to new and existing members in regard to the various credit union services with an emphasis on all current promotions
• Serving as the face of the credit union, greeting members and offering assistance as a needed, while following all standard operating procedures

Salary Range

This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $20.00/hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.

Schedule

Approximately Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with rotating Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Education/Experience

You must have ahigh school diploma or equivalent which is requiredand one-year applicable work experience in a related position is preferred. Financial institution experience preferred.

• Previous Bank Teller experience from a bank or credit union is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority
• Complete regulations training
• TFCU University certification required and completed
