CSE Federal Credit Union in North Canton, OH is seeking a friendly Teller who thrives on customer service and accurate cash handling. You will process deposits, checks, loan payments, and maintain balancing of cash drawer while delivering exceptional member service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, prior cash handling or customer service experience, and strong communication. The role offers full-time hours with competitive benefits and a community-focused workplace.

• Previous customer service experience is preferred
• Digitally savvy; ability to work with Windows PC and multiple web-based applications

• Flexibility to work during our business hours: 8AM – 5PM, M-F and 9AM – 1PM on Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Provide service support to members in a professional, friendly manner and compliant with regulations. Refer services that fit members' financial needs.
• Process all financial service transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Assist members with deposits, cashing checks, loan payments, and updating member records.
• Promote the credit union through exceptional service and engage with members using computer applications and web-based programs.

What You Will Do

Provide service support to members in a manner that is professional, friendly and compliant with all regulations, policies and procedures. In doing so, the Teller will recommend and refer services to Members that best fit their financial needs.

Duties include but are not limited to accepting and accurately processing all financial service transactions while maintaining responsibility for balancing a cash drawer; assisting our members with a variety of deposit-related transactions including cashing checks, applying deposits, making loan payments and updating member records; promoting the credit union through exceptional service. Tellers will use various computer applications and web-based programs to process transactions and solve problems.

Ideal candidates will have a member-first attitude and value all people. Candidates must demonstrate a sense of urgency in responding to members and have a passion for delivering top-notch service. They must also be punctual, dependable and demonstrate the ability to earn trust and respect by acting with honesty and professionalism.

• Digitally savvy; ability to work with Windows PC and multiple web-based applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent numerical accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with banking software is a plus.
• Commitment to providing outstanding member service.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
