Job summary

ChoiceOne Bank is seeking a Teller to be the branch face, delivering world‑class service while handling cash and non‑cash transactions with accuracy.

You will balance daily at the window, meet referral goals, grow customer relationships, and stay compliant with BSA/Patriot Act guidelines in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred (minimum 6 months).
• Ability to work in an office environment with computer/telephone usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate teller window in accordance with policy and balance daily.
• Process cash and non-cash transactions accurately and confidentially.
• Acquire knowledge of banking products and services and promote them to customers.
• Develop client relationships and refer to bankers when appropriate.
• Follow Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act requirements and report concerns.
• Answer phones and perform miscellaneous branch duties as needed.
• Support night deposits, ATM balancing, stocking supplies, and other tasks.

Tellers are the face of ChoiceOne Bank. As a Teller, you will provide world-class customer service by handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Recognize clients’ needs and make referrals to bankers.Perform other miscellaneous duties, including night deposits, ATM balancing and service, re-ordering and stocking supplies, answering phones, and other duties that may be required from time to time.Be familiar with and comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position.
