Responsibilities

• Cross-sell bank products and refer customers to appropriate staff.
• Assist with ATM servicing and vault operations as needed.

Examines cash carefully to guard against acceptance of counterfeit bills.Identifying customers and cashing checks, or referring customers to an officer for authorization to cash checks.Enters transactions into computer and issues customer receipts.Accepting savings deposits and withdrawals, verifying signatures.Providing additional customer services including Official Checks, Personal Money Orders, Savings Bonds, and Stop Payments.Balances cash daily by counting cash at the beginning of shift and balances cash and checks against computer records at the end of the shift.Accepting payments for loans.May be responsible for bank opening/closing under dual control.May be asked to assist in operational and servicing needs of the ATMs.May be asked to admit customers to safe deposit boxes.Open and close vault under dual control. May assist in vault maintenance.Promote the banks products and services; consistently cross-sells bank products at every opportunity.Make a concentrated effort to solve customer problems.Observe suspicious behavior and report any such activity to head teller and/or security personnel as appropriate.
