Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a dedicated professional to lead its installation/community Outreach Services Program, supporting active duty personnel, DoD civilians and families. The role focuses on policy implementation, program budgeting, and coordinating with the CYS team to ensure compliant, high-quality services.

The candidate will oversee staff recruitment, oversee reporting and briefings, and ensure successful operation of Youth/Child Services within the installation, with travel to locations

Qualifications

• Two pages or less resumes clearly demonstrating relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
• At least 24 months working with child and/or youth programs.
• Ability to plan and organize problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data and recognize solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English.
• Proof of education is required at time of application, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Serves as director for installation/community Outreach Services Program and provides assistance to active duty military personnel, DoD civilians, and their families.
• Implements and monitors DA policies related to Outreach Services, e.g., fees, patron eligibility, baseline programming, space allocations/goals.
• Recruit and hire qualified personnel utilizing Army CYS Standard Position Descriptions when required.
• Develops program budget and provides to CYS Coordinator for CYS budget.
• As Subject Matter Expert on installation child and youth Outreach Services issues, prepares reports, surveys, and briefings for command and installation on CYS matters.
