Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) in Minot, ND seeks a General Engineer (GS-0801-12) to lead design and construction of nuclear mission facilities, ranging from $50k to $100M+. Salary range is $107,048 - $139,166 with opportunities for telework up to 20% and travel up to 25%. U.S.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from ABET-accredited college is required.
• Experience managing facility renovation, construction, or utility projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and system commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design multi-phase new construction and renovations for real property facilities.
• Manage projects and supervise construction contractors to ensure contract compliance.
• Develop programs, budgets, and schedules for facilities projects.
• Support facilities operations and maintenance and AMP management.
• Provide coordination with architects, engineers, and contracting officers.
• Collect data, analyze factors, and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
