Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Business Services Officer to oversee administrative support for all agency programs in the state office region. You will coordinate facility operations, space planning, leases, and vendor management to ensure seamless service delivery.

The role requires strong knowledge of facility management, contract development, and cross‑agency collaboration. Telework may be eligible, with regular travel across the state.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience in business operations and processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and executes administrative support services for all HHS agency programs.
• Conducts facility reviews and ensures safety and compliance across offices.
• Manages space allocation, relocations and lease-related activities across regional offices.
• Develops service contracts for regional offices including janitorial, security and maintenance.
• Oversees workload of support staff and ensures timely project delivery.
