The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in Des Moines County is seeking a Child & Family Services Case Manager for the Eastern Iowa Service Area, based at Burlington. The role focuses on coordinating services, monitoring progress, supporting permanency planning and reunification where possible.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and safety factors for children and families.
• Schedule and conduct monthly in-home visits with parents and children.
• Complete timely documentation including notes and court reports; attend hearings.
• Respond to crises with urgent support and stabilization.
• Collaborate with legal, law enforcement, treatment providers and partners.
• Manage a diverse caseload with flexibility and analytical reasoning.
