Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may satisfy this requirement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
• One (1) year of Nurse Assistant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains continuous visual observation of patients as assigned.
• Verbally redirects patient via digital 2-way audio device and notifies RN as needed.
• Participates in hand-off of pertinent information at shift change.
• Documents appropriately in the system and relays status to the RN and incoming staff.
