Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for FT Nights to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The PCT will assist with basic clinical tasks and documentation while ensuring patient comfort and safety across all ages.

The role requires Kansas-certified MA/CNA/PCT/EMT/HHA or progress in nursing school, plus current BLS/CPR. Benefits include competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Certification as MA, CNA, PCT, EMT, or HHA in Kansas.
• Current BLS/CPR before patient care activities.
• On-the-job training for sterile technique, sterile field, and instrument care/handling; EKG and phlebotomy training.

Responsibilities

• Document timely and accurate documentation per policy.
• Provide care per unit/department competencies, policies, and procedures.
• Care for patients from newborn to geriatric as directed.
• Act in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Protect PHI privacy and security per HIPAA regulations.
