Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for night shifts to support the Telesitter - Patient Observation program. You will work under the direction of physicians and nursing staff to monitor and care for patients across the newborn to geriatric range.

This role requires a Kansas-certified MA/CNA/PCT/EMT/HHA, current BLS/CPR, and the ability to document accurately while maintaining PHI privacy.

Qualifications

• Certification as MA, CNA, PCT, EMT, or HHA in Kansas.
• Current BLS/CPR card prior to patient care.
• On-the-job training for sterile technique, EKG, and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Document promptly and accurately per policy.
• Provide patient care from newborn to geriatric as directed.
• Maintain PHI privacy and security in all aspects.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
