Thriveworks is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Norfolk, VA team. You will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments in both in-person and telemedicine settings, and prescribe medications as clinically indicated.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatry practice; 3 years experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine settings.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on patient care plans.
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools per guidelines.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on patient care.
