Job summary

Thriveworks in Midlothian, VA is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide assessments, treatment, and medication management for adolescents and adults through a hybrid in-person and telemedicine model.

The role requires board certification, a master's in nursing with prescriptive authority, and at least one year of psychiatry practice. You will join a team focused on evidence-based ADHD treatment standards and collaborative care.

Qualifications

Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
Licensed PMHNP must be licensed and live in the practicing state.
All clinicians complete in-house ADHD treatment standards training and certification.

Responsibilities

Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations for in-person and telemedicine clients.
Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and up.
Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
Collaborate with clients to create and update care plans.
Complete paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on programs and services.
