Job summary
Thriveworks Roanoke, VA seeks a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide in-person and telemedicine care for teens and adults. You will conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop collaborative care plans with clinicians across Thriveworks locations.
Requires board-certified PMHNP, Master's with prescriptive authority, and at least 1 year of psychiatry experience. Thriveworks offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
- Three years of experience preferred; 1 year psychiatry required.
- Licensed and living in the practicing state.
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine settings.
- Treat patients aged 14 and up.
- Prescribe medications to reduce symptoms as needed.
- Create and collaborate on comprehensive care plans.
- Complete required paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines; consult with regional staff.
