Job summary

Thriveworks in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a fee-for-service W2 position. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $187,000 per year based on 25-35 clinical hours weekly, with telemedicine options and in-person capacity.

Responsibilities include psychiatric assessments for adults and adolescents, prescribing medications as appropriate, developing care plans, and adhering to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state
• Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required
• Licensed in the state where practicing
• Complete in-house ADHD training and certification; no client or prescription quotas

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients in in-person and telemedicine capacity
• Willingness to treat ages 14+
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed
• Create and collaborate on individualized care plans
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools for clients
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients and programs
