Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Williamsburg, VA to provide in-person and telemedicine care for adolescents and adults with conditions such as depression and anxiety. The role includes prescribing medications and developing collaborative care plans.

The compensation ranges from $130,000 to $187,000 per year based on 25–35 clinical hours weekly, with a strong emphasis on clinical guidelines, training, and career growth within Thriveworks’

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner — Board Certification required.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine capacity.
• Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete and administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines and consult with Regional Clinic Directors.
