Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide in-person and telemedicine care in Richmond, VA. The role requires state licensure and prescriptive authority, with a fee-for-service (W2) arrangement and $65k-$94k annual compensation based on 15-20 hours per week.

You will assess and treat adults and adolescents, develop care plans, and follow Thriveworks clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state of practice.
• At least 1 year of psychiatry practice preferred; 3 years overall clinical experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine settings.
• Willingness to treat 14-year-olds and up.
• Prescribe medications as needed to alleviate mental health symptoms.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete necessary paperwork and assessment tools per Thriveworks guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients and services.
