Job summary

UPMC Altoona is seeking a fulltime Telephone Operator to cover the 3rd shift (four 10-hour shifts, 9pm–7am) with an option for five 8-hour shifts (11pm–7am). The position includes weekend work and occasional shifts on any day.

The operator will serve as the primary contact for public and hospital departments in routine and emergency situations. Responsibilities include handling multiple phone lines, training new operators, data entry as needed, paging in emergencies, and relaying on-call
