Candidates must have KY or compact license, and be eligible to float to related units. Preference given to those with NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certifications; 3 months of recent Meditech and 9 months of acute care experience are noted.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Chest tube knowledge and dysrhythmia training preferred.
Any special scheduling requests must be made with manager upon arrival at facility.
Patient ratios: 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 max ratio; at times may be stretched to 7:1. PCTs on day and night shift; unit clerks on day shift. Uses remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps. Procedures performed on unit include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
Every other weekend.
Agency floats first and may float to Ortho/Med-Surg.
AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
