Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Kentucky. The shift is from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a 12-hour night schedule and three shifts per week. Requires Kentucky or compact license, 2 years of acute inpatient telemetry RN experience, and EPIC proficiency.

Fluent in nursing duties including CPAP, PCA, wound care, and tracheostomy care. Local and travel candidates considered.

Responsabilidades

• Float to multiple units as needed.
• Care for orthopedic, spine, and general medical patients.
• Administer pain meds and insulin, monitor telemetry.
• Read telemetry data and avoid titration; follow unit protocols.
• Utilize CPAP, PCA, feeding tubes, wound care, and tracheostomy care.
• Communicate patient needs to the care team and document in EPIC.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details:APRN support is available.RNs read telemetry and do not titrate.The patient population includes orthopedic, spine, and general medical diagnoses.Medications include pain medications and insulin.Clinical skills and equipment include CPAP, PCA, feeding tubes, wound vacs, and tracheostomy care.

Shift & Scheduling:Every other weekend is required.Self-scheduling is available.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
