Job summary

Virtua in Marlton is seeking a part-time Telemetry Technician to monitor ECGs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for continuously observing patient ECGs, documenting rhythms, and communicating any significant changes to nursing staff. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and some experience with ECG monitoring or dysrhythmia. The position offers a night shift and is classified as Per Diem.

The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. A comprehensive benefits package is available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SPO2 monitoring and alarm response preferred.
• Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Continuously observes and interprets ECG monitors.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s ECG to the RN.
• Documents calculations and interpretation on required forms.

Skills

Knowledge of dysrhythmia and heart blocks

Strong organizational skills

Ability to operate electronic computer-based equipment

Education

High School Diploma or GED
