Job summary

Virtua Health in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Telemetry Technician for the part-time night shift. You will monitor ECGs, interpret rhythms, and communicate changes to the RN while documenting data accurately.

The role requires basic dysrhythmia training and familiarity with SPO2 monitoring and alarms. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 3–6 months of related experience, and be capable of performing tasks with strong organizational and team-based collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months of previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dysrhythmia and heart blocks; SPO2 monitoring and alarm response.
• Strong organizational and interprofessional skills.
• Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities; prioritize scheduling.
• Operate electronic computer-based equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret ECG monitors.
• Notify RN of changes and communicate equipment issues.
• Document interpretations and required data on forms.
• Adhere to standard precautions and patient safety principles.
• Record information on department forms and maintain accuracy.
• Assist with orientation and performance improvement activities; maintain competencies.
