Job summary

Select Medical in Oregon, OH seeks a Telemetry Technician/Monitor Tech for per diem 12‑hour shifts. Compensation starts at $23.00 per hour with weekend differentials. Role requires monitoring patient rhythms, alarm responses, and EKG interpretations, with shifts at Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed.

Ideal candidates may have LPN, Licensed Paramedic, EMS, or EKG experience and must complete an EKG class within 30 days. Regency Hospital supports oriented onboarding and potential advancement.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required tests/competencies on education platform.
• Ability to pick up shifts at multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watch and respond to alarms with appropriate action.
• Monitor all assigned screens and address alarms promptly.
• Perform EKG interpretations: rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QT, ST, and rhythm.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
