Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Monitoring Technician for 36 hours per week, 7pm–7:30am with every 3rd weekend. The role focuses on monitoring cardiac rhythms, communicating changes, and keeping telemetry equipment stocked and functional.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a BLS certification; prior telemetry/EKG experience is preferred. You will collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with telemetry or EKG is a plus.
• Ability to document and communicate patient rhythms clearly.

• Forwards changes to nurse and/or attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Prior telemetry or EKG experience is preferred.
