Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Telemetry Technician to support the Central Monitoring Unit at Providence Novi Hospital. The role covers continuous cardiac monitoring, with 36 hours per week and a 7:00pm–7:30am schedule.

Responsibilities include overseeing and communicating cardiac patterns on telemetric devices, maintaining monitoring equipment and inventory, documenting irregular rhythms, and forwarding changes to the nurse or attending physician for analysis.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of cumulative related experience or equivalent education.
• Prior telemetry or EKG experience preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Performs various activities regarding telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring.

Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital

36 hours per week. 7pm - 7:30am.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Prior telemetry or EKG experience is preferred.
