Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing care. Working within the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care, you will use professional judgment and the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Qualifications include a Michigan RN license within 60 days, AHA BLS certification within 90 days or as an instructor, and graduation from an approved RN program. Weekend shifts include a $15/hour premium.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider credentialed by the American Heart Association within 3 months or as instructor.

• Weekendhours are defined as 3:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday.The 3rd day will be based on the needs of the department.All qualified hours on the weekend are eligible for a $15/hour weekend premium

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes, and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or Certified Instructor.
• Education: - Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
