Capital Health is seeking a diligent Telemetry Monitor Technician to support continuous patient monitoring and data accuracy. You will position patients for telemetry, document wave forms, and coordinate with nurses for timely care.

Strong attention to detail and compliance with clinical policies are essential for success. The role requires previous telemetry experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; CRAT or CET within 18 months of hire.
• Previous experience as a cardiac monitor clerk or in telemetry monitoring.
• AHA BLS certification required or obtainable during orientation.

Responsabilités

• Place patients on telemetry equipment with correct skin prep and electrode placement.
• Maintain rhythm strips and monitoring logs; document patient identifiers and transmitter numbers.
• Admit/discharge patients from telemetry; monitor patients off unit during testing.
• Perform and interpret EKGs; report abnormalities to care team promptly.
• Respond to life-threatening events; initiate Code Blue per policy and communicate data.
