Job summary

Regency Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Technician/Monitor Tech to monitor patient telemetry, verify rhythms, and respond to alarms across multiple monitors. The role supports critical post-ICU care and requires strong attention to electrical patterns and patient safety.

Applicants with LPN, EMS, or EKG experience are encouraged to apply. Per diem shifts are available with weekend differentials; hospital locations include Sylvania and Oregon, OH as needed.

Qualifications

• Complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date and complete required competencies on the education platform.
• Pass other tests/competencies as required by Select Medical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms continuously and ensure timely responses to alarms.
• Verify identification of rhythms (basic and lethal) and manage EKG monitor alarms.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QT intervals, and ST segments.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
