Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Telemetry Unit.
• Direct patient and family teaching while supervising other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and document care.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment response.
