Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit using the nursing process. This full-time night-shift role emphasizes patient education and teamwork. You will monitor cardiac status, communicate with physicians, and respond swiftly to changes in condition while upholding high standards of care.

Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates. Required licensure includes state RN license, BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and educate patient/family.
• Direct and guide nursing staff in patient care and maintain standards.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physician including cardiac monitoring results.
