Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Effective Communication- Understanding of effective communication concepts and tools.
• Patient-and Family-Centered Practice- Knowledge of collaborating with patients and families.
• Cultural Awareness- Knowledge of diverse backgrounds.
• Care Coordination- Integrating multidisciplinary treatments for patient care.
• Patient Safety- Knowledge of reducing risk in healthcare.
• Medication Administration and Prescription- Knowledge of medications and administration.
• Discharge Planning- Planning for patient discharge and follow-up care.
• Assessment and Diagnosis- Ability to analyze symptoms and plan care.
• Health Information Documentation- Documentation of medical information.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers and patients to provide safe, compassionate nursing care.
